Beach Pants & Tie Dye OOTD

Trying something kinda new, y'all. Some of you may like it, some of you may not care one bit, but I figured this would be an easy post! I don't get dressed up too often, and I don't know that any of my outfits are exactly "pin-worthy" but let's give it a go.

It's been about two weeks since we started going to the gym every day, and most days I have been rockin the workout gear. Since we moved to Texas, I have been able to stay home with my kiddos and don't get out too often, so my OOTDs have pretty much been limited to tanks or tees, leggings, and tennis shoes. I wore a skirt to church last Sunday, but that's about the best I've done lately.

Yesterday, I worked out bright and early, making it more manageable to put on an actual outfit before we took the kids to walk around the mall with strollers. (Not to buy anything, just to get out of the house and see people!)

Keep in mind, I am a simple gal, and even my fanciest outfits err towards simple and comfy. As much as I would love to be a fashionista, I'm severely lacking in accessorizing and keeping my wardrobe on trend. But it is what it is... and I'm okay with it. :-)

So on the off chance that you loved any pieces of this outfit, I'm doing a little bit of work and research for you and linking you up to similar pieces online. I bought all of this within the past few years, so it's not likely you will find the exact same ones.

The top:

I bought this top a year or two ago from Target. It's part of the amazing Knox Rose line. I have a huge attraction to all things tie dye and this one hides my mummy tummy very well. I wasn't able to find the exact top, or even a tie dye one in the same style and color. But Target does have another Knox Rose top in the same fit and style. Click here to see it!

The pants:

I bought these pants from TJ Maxx last summer. At the time, I wasn't sure I liked how they kind of fit into the "highwaters" category, but I got used to them over time, especially after the compliments I received when I wore them! I have many wide legged pants in my closet and these fit right in! The only thing I don't love about them is that they're light material and a little see-through. I wear short leggings under them and in the Texas heat, I get a little warm. They might make great beach/pool pants though!

I couldn't find these on the TJ Maxx website either, but they have a ton of wide legged pants available! I'm actually considering buying a few of them! :-) Click here to be linked to the only pair I could find with a similar length/style.

The shoes:

I bought these years ago, from Ross Dress for Less. I was amazed that you can still find these sandals online. I'm actually going to link you to the search results because these are all over the place! You can find them used, new, and in a few different colors. Click here to see what I found!

That's it! Easy, comfy, and simple.

If you're into accessorizing, you could definitely add some jewelry to complete this look. Or even a straw fedora! (which I have and never remember to wear...)

Thanks for tuning in to my first OOTD post. If it does well, you may be seeing more of these in the future!

Until next time,
